Buffalo-Area Neighbors to Runner: Stop Pooping on Our Lawns

It's a situation that could soil the reputation of a western New York neighborhood: a serial pooper is leaving a mess in peoples' front yards.

That's according to a classified ad placed in a pennysaver in Orchard Park earlier this week.

"To the person/jogger who is pooping on our lawns in the Village of O.P.: Stop!!," states the ad placed in the Orchard Park Pennysaver.

According to the Buffalo News, which first reported the ad, authorities have only received one complaint about feces in their front yard, on Nov. 8. The homeowner told authorities she thought the perpetrator was a runner in the area, and that it wasn't the first time she had found poop and toilet paper on her property.

But the ad makes it seem as though multiple homeowners' lawns were "invaded."

"We have installed trail cams to identify you!" the ad continues. "The Orchard Park Police are increasing patrols in our area!"

Police told the Buffalo News that they are adding patrols to the neighborhood in the village that is home to the Buffalo Bills, but that they "don't have much to go on."

It's not the first time a runner's bowel movements have made the news this year. In September, residents in Colorado Springs, Colorado, reported a "mad pooper" defecating on peoples' lawns during jogs.
