GOP Leaves Secret Document in Florida Hotel

Fundraising document was found by a Democrat

Oops! A confidential Republican Party campaign fund-raising document was left in a central Florida hotel, revealing some of the GOPs strategies to get people to fork over donations.

The document was found by a Democrat, who turned the document over to Politico.com.

It's unclear whose copy was left in the hotel, but this is not like leaving a tooth brush or a missing a sock in a hotel room. This is the equivalent of leaving your playbook out for the opposing team before the Super Bowl.

In the power point presentation, the GOP has a nifty illustration on a page called "The Evil Empire" which depicts President Barack Obama as the Joker, Senate leader Harry Reid as Scooby Doo (don't ask us why) and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi as Cruella de Ville (the resemblance is striking).

Another slide in the 72 page document, simplifies the Republicans strategy to take back the White House and Congress.

Salvation and fear.

"What can you sell when you do not have the White House, the House or the Senate...?" the page reads. The answer:  "Save the country from trending toward Socialism."

Politico reports that the presentation was given by RNC Finance Chairman Peter Terpeluk and RNC Finance Director Rob Bickhart in Boca Grande on Feb. 18.
