Great Big Balls of Fire: NBA Fines Heat Guard for Obscene Gesture

Eddie House might want to chill on the "Great Balls of Fire" celebration

Eddie House is being taken to the woodshed by the NBA, who fined the Miami Heat guard $25,000 for his celebration after hitting a game-winning shot Sunday.

House hit a three-pointer with 22 seconds left that put the Heat up 105-103 against the Oklahoma City Thunder. After the shot, House merely displayed his joy by bouncing around with his hands cradling his imaginary man region.

We call it the "Great Balls of Fire" celebration.

To the NBA, it's OK to have the balls to take and make a game-winning shot, but it's not OK to cradle them even if they are an imaginary, huge pair.

House was fined "for making an obscene gesture," but it wasn't the first time this week he had pulled off the cajones dance.

After hitting two free throws that put Miami up against Detroit on Friday, House dropped his hands below his waist as he went to the bench.

From now on, we suggest House stick to the conventional high five.
