Tuna on Drunk Jerry: “He Didn't Mean It”

Parcells claims Dallas Cowboy owner Jerry Jones was joking

If a drunk man tells no lies, then what was Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones doing when he called Bill Parcells a piece of human excrement?

Apparently, he was just kidding, Parcells says.

Oh, Jerry, Jerry, Jerry.

"I think he was just pulling some guy's leg," the Miami Dolphins vice president of football operations told NorthJersey.com. "I'm not upset with it at all. He didn't mean it.'

Of course he didn't. Why else would Jones say it over and over and over again?

Jones' drunken opinion of Parcells was captured on the cell phone camera of a fan and has spread like wildfire throughout the sports world. Jones hasn't commented on the footage, but ESPN.com is reporting that sources said Jones and Parcells talked about the episode and laughed it off.

We're not sure if it was laughing like, "Ha, ha! You really pulled a fast one on that guy," or "Ha, ha hell! If I catch you in a dark alley on Miami Ave, we'll see who the tool is."

Jones was Parcells' boss for three seasons from 2003-2006 as the controversial owner was trying to get his billion-dollar football palace approved. During the 47-second rant, Jones claims he only hired Parcells to get his project pushed through.
