As it turns out, you can't go home again ... unless you used to play for Tottenham Hotspur. For the third time in this January (or February, as it were) transfer window the North London club brought back a former player to White Hart Lane.
Monday it was the most spectacular of the trio, as Irish striker Robbie Keanereturns to Spurs less than six months after a much-ballyhooed move to Liverpool. The August transfer of Keane to Anfield was supposed to result in an amazing 1-2 punch with Fernando Torres, instead it proved to be a mild flop as Keane couldn't consistently find a solid place in manager Rafa Benitez's lineup, scoring only five times in 17 league matches.
