The ongoing battle between Richie Incognito and Jonathan Martin took a new turn on Wednesday with a series of tweets by Incognito.
This is not the first time that Incognito has taken to Twitter about the alleged Miami Dolphins bullying scandal. As recently as last week, he brought up the subject which was outlined by NBC Sports. On that occasion, Incognito also made a direct comment at Martin's agent Kenny Zuckerman. Incognito also mentioned the agent on Wednesday.
Thus far, Martin has not responded in any way to Wednesday's tweets which are quickly being retweeted by other Twitter users:
Dear Jon Martin..... The truth is going to bury you and your entire "camp". You could have told the truth the entire time. — Richie Incognito (@68INCOGNITO) February 12, 2014
After those tweets, Incognito continued with two more for his followers. Recently, a transcript of alleged text messages between Incognito and Martin was released to the public. The text messages included explicit language.
I'm guilty of being a loyal friend and good teammate. I apologize for my poor language and rude remarks. I've never denied it. — Richie Incognito (@68INCOGNITO) February 12, 2014
I apologize to all of the women out there that I offended with my text messages to my close personal friend. — Richie Incognito (@68INCOGNITO) February 12, 2014
Albert Breer of NFL Network mentioned on his Twitter account that Incognito was currently tweeting about the incident to which the player responded with the following:
A report from attorney Ted Wells is expected to come by next week in regards to the bullying scandal according to NFL.com. Neither Martin nor Incognito is expected back with the Dolphins in 2014 after their highly controversial and well publicized spat.
