Police Horse Accused of Talking Smack, Gets Slapped

Stephanie Six is charged with battery on a police horse

Usually, when someone is acting like a horse's rear end, they are a human.

But a Florida woman recently arrested claims it really was a police horse that was really acting like an ass.

Stephanie Six, 29, was arrested over the weekend for slapping a police horse that she claims got all up in her face after she was leaving a bar in St. Petersburg, CNN reports. Cops allege she punched the horse in the nose and was not provoked by their equine partner.

Six, who has been charged with battery on a police horse, has a different version as to what happened. Essentially, she claims the horse was the instigator of the animal fight.

"A horse was literally right in my face all of a sudden," Six said. "They’re saying I slapped this horse when that’s not the case. I was basically getting it out of my face."

Police officers were outside the bar scene trying to control a large crowd at around 3 a.m. Six had just walked outside and was told to leave the premises.

That's when the horse encounter occurred.

Six spent 12 hours in jail and plans to fight her new animal abuser label.

"I just moved his face out of my face, I did not hit him," she said. "It's embarrassing"
