Clarins is one of the most respected beauty brands in the world. The french-born company is the synonym of sophistication and natural beauty, which is why it was fitting to have one of their gurus dish to Latin Beat about tips for Spring glowing skin. Christopher Truffa, Clarins brand ambassador, joined them as their skincare expert since 2009.

We chatted with Christopher about how to achieve youthful looking skin, the makeup colors for the season, and the beauty trends for spring. Here are his top 3 tips to looking beautiful and maintaining a healthy skincare routine.

Nowadays, fuller-looking lips are been sough-after more and more.

For those looking to achieve the perfect pout, Christopher suggests this infallible tip that will enhance your lips, without having to visit the surgeon: "Use a lip liner but just shade the sides of the lips. This will bring fullness to them but will keep a natural look that's not overdone. A natural color is always the best choice".

The number one concern for all a skin types, and ages, is sun-care.

It is very important to remember to use sunscreen everyday because the damaging sun rays cause premature aging, dark spots and skin cancer.

However, for those who still want the sun-kissed looking skin without having to worry about wrinkles, Christopher taught us about Clarins newest innovative product: Golden Glow Booster. He says: "All you have to do is add three little drops into your moisturizer, or night cream, and it will give you a natural-looking tan that can be kept for as long as you would like".

During spring and summer temperatures rise, which is why its important to keep the beauty routine light.

Choose a color palette that enhances your natural beauty, and plays with your complexion and features, without overwhelming your face with dark or heavy tones.

For this, Christopher suggested us to change our regular powder blush for a multi-tasker cream blush. A Multi-Blush is the perfect tool for on-the-go makeup, because it can be used for cheeks and lips, and gives them a pop of color while maintaining skin feeling fresh.
