Authorities are investigating after a man was beaten and robbed during an early-morning home invasion in Lauderhill Tuesday.
The incident happened around 5 a.m. at the Brookfield Square apartments at 2800 Northwest 56th Avenue in the victim's first floor unit.
Officials said the victim was hit with a weapon, but didn't say what kind of weapon or what injuries he sustained.
No other information was immediately known.
