The FBI is investigating after three men dressed in hospital scrubs robbed the credit union at Mercy Hospital Thursday morning.
The men held up employees at the Jetstream Federal Credit Union on the second floor of the hospital at 3663 South Miami Avenue at about 7:10 a.m.
Officials said the men demanded and took money from an employee, but have not released how much was taken.
Three employees were kicked, sprayed with an aerosol irritant and threatened with a gun, authorities said. They were treated for injuries at the hospital and have been released.
Officials said the men may have used an older faded green, four-door Buick with tinted windows as a getaway car.
If anyone can help identify the robbers, they are urged to call the FBI at (305) 944-9101 or Miami-Dade Crimestoppers at 305-471-TIPS (8477).
