The former caretaker of missing 4-year-old foster child Rilya Wilson appeared in court Monday where her probation was terminated.

Pamela Graham, who had pleaded guilty to two counts of child neglect in the case, won't serve any jail time, according to the Miami Herald.  She had been on probation since 2004.

Graham has cooperated with prosecutors and gave key testimony in the trial of former live-in lover Geralyn Graham, who was convicted in January of kidnapping and child abuse in the case.

[MI] Murder Retrial for Geralyn Graham in Rilya Wilson Case
Prosecutors in Miami have decided to retry Geralyn Graham, the caretaker of missing foster child Rilya Wilson, on a murder charge. Defense attorney Michael Matters said he was annoyed and surprised by the state's decision. Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle spoke about prosecutors' new effort in a statement, while Judge Marisa Tinkler Mendez raised concerns about the retrial taking place in Miami-Dade County.

Geralyn Graham, who isn't related to Pamela Graham, was sentenced to 55 years in prison and will face retrial on a murder count.

Rilya vanished in December 2000 from Graham's home but her disappearance wasn't noticed for 15 months, largely because a Department of Children and Families caseworker neglected to check on the girl. Rilya's body has never been found.

During her trial, prosecutors said Geralyn Graham abused Rilya, even confining the girl in a dog cage or keeping her hidden in a laundry room for hours.

Pamela Graham was the child’s foster parent of record, but Geralyn Graham was the head of their household.
