Four suspects who rammed two police cruisers with a stolen car after they were caught burglarizing a home in unincorporated Broward County were taken into custody Friday, authorities said.
The incident began when deputies were called to the 4300 block of Southwest 24th Street to reports of a suspicious vehicle, according to the Broward Sheriff's Office.
Deputies quickly confirmed the car was stolen and was wanted in connection with a robbery that happened a few days ago in Lauderdale Lakes.
The suspects, believed to be juveniles, were in the middle of breaking into a home when deputies arrived in the area, the BSO said.
All four fled in the stolen car, ramming two patrol cars before bailing out a few blocks away in the area of Southwest 45th Avenue and 25th Street, the BSO said.
They were quickly caught with the help of K-9 and aviation units. No injuries were reported.
Authorities haven't identified the suspects or said what charges they'll face.
