Accused Facebook Sorority Stalker Caught in Keys

Police say man sexually harassed sorority girls in Louisiana

A Florida man who police say used Facebook to solicit explicit photos and videos from sorority girls at Louisiana State University and possibly other schools was arrested at his Key West home Thursday, police said.

Mitchell Hill, 27, faces two counts of video voyeurism, two counts of extortion and 12 counts of attempted video voyeurism in Louisiana in a sick scheme to get naked images of college girls, authorities say.

According to police, Hill would send the girls messages through Facebook, posing as a sorority representative for one of the houses the girls were hoping to join. Using the names "Marissa" and "Lexie," he allegedly demanded the girls provide the inappropriate images or their membership status in the sorority would be in jeopardy.

Hill also allegedly taunted the women in online chats.

Police were able to track the messages to Hill, who was arrested Thursday and is being held at the Monroe County jail.

Hill is also a suspect in similar crimes at Florida State University, The University of Florida, the University of Alabama and Auburn University.
