An elementary school principal who gave a parent a piece of her vulgar mind has been removed from her post, the Miami-Dade school district has ruled.
Eva Ravelo has been reassigned from Coconut Grove Elementary School to a regional office far away from students, parents and hopefully e-mail access.
Last week, Ravelo sent a parent an e-mail advising her to "eat s--- and die." She hasn't spoken about the incident, but some of the administrators at the school said it was a mistake and the e-mail was meant for another administrator in the school, although it was still clearly about the parent.
The move is temporary, according to the Miami Herald, pending an investigation into the incident. If we were Ravelo, we'd start touching up the resume.
It might also be wise to brush up on a couple of elementary school adages.
