The Miami computer hacker who prosecutors say perpetrated the largest identity fraud case in U.S. history is heading to jail after agreeing to plead guilty to conspiracy, wire fraud and aggravated identity theft charges.

Albert Gonzalez is looking at 15 to 25 years behind bars under the plea agreement filed in Boston today.

The 28 year old will also have to turn over $2.8 million in cash, the keys to his Miami condo and car and some pricey jewelry.

Gonzalez, arrested in Miami in 2008, was charged with stealing the credit and debit card numbers of over 170 million accounts.

He worked with two men in Russia to sell the info to others who would make purchases with the stolen numbers. It took law enforcement agencies nearly two years to stop the identity theft ring.
