Detectives Release Surveillance in Hollywood Shooting

Hollywood detectives have released surveillance video taken by the scene of a Friday shooting. Investigators said the man seen fleeing in the video is the subject responsible for the shooting of 16-year-old Jacob Rivera.

Investigators said the man seen fleeing in the video is the subject responsible for the shooting of 16-year-old Jacob Rivera.

Rivera was found shot on the side walk at about 5:15 p.m. Friday at 900 N. 66th Avenue, Hollywood Police said.

He as taken to the intensive care unit at Memorial Regional Hospital, where he remains in critical condition, police said Saturday.

A witness to the shooting told investigators he saw a white man with a with a white t-shit over his face fleeing from the area.

Officials were also investigating a second shooting Friday that happened at about 9:15 p.m. on South 29th Terrace and Jackson Street.

The 20-year-old victim in that shooting, identified as Donavin Johnson, died at Memorial Regional Hospital, where he had also been taken in critical condition, officials said.
