A home invasion suspect got quite the surprise when the homeowners turned the tables and beat him with his own weapon.

According to Tampa NBC affiliate WFLA, 33-year-old Noah Dassat, a native of California, broke into a home near North Port. After Dassat struck the man of the house with a baseball bat, that victim was able to put Dassat into a bear hug, which allowed the man’s wife to grab that bat and beat the suspect with it.

Dassat was able to get away, but was later arrested after a local hospital notified police a man with a head injury and using a fake name matched the description of the home invader.

Police said that three children were inside the home at the time of the attack, but none were hurt.

Dassat is being held in the Charlotte County jail without bond. It's not known if he has an attorney.
