The funeral for the pregnant woman killed in a drive-by shooting in Miami Gardens last month was held Saturday morning.
Angelese Ladson, 29, and her unborn baby were killed June 26, a week before a planned baby shower for her unborn son.
Davon Scott, the father of the baby, said Ladson was due to give birth on Aug. 14. He said he was inside the home when the shooting happened.
"It's like losing part of you. It's like losing a finger or a toe that can't be replaced. I've never had it before," he said last month.
On Saturday, hundreds gathered at Logos Baptist Church in Miami to remember the slain woman.
Ladson was standing outside in the 18000 block of Northwest 40th Place with another woman when she was shot in the neck, police said.
The other victim, Krystal Tillman, was shot in the leg but survived.

It is still unknown whether the women were the intended target or what led to the shooting.
