A motorcycle officer with the Hialeah Police Department was involved in a crash on the Palmetto Expressway Friday afternoon.
The crash happened in the southbound lanes near Northwest 74th Street, where the motorcycle appeared to have been hit from behind by a truck.
Florida Highway Patrol officials said the officer suffered minor injuries.
The cause of the crash was unknown.
