Swedish furniture retailer IKEA is looking to fill about 350 job openings when it opens its first store in Miami-Dade County later this year.

IKEA has begun its recruitment process for the store, which is set to open near the Dolphin Mall in Sweetwater this summer, the company said Tuesday.

Job openings include: home furnishings sales, interior design, customer service, safety and security, cashier, facility management, receiving, stock replenishment and warehouse.

About 60 positions are also open in the store's restaurant, foodmarket, bistro and employee cafeteria.

"We are thrilled to offer interested jobseekers diverse positions with limitless opportunity at a global company," Selwyn Crittendon, store manager of the future IKEA Miami, said in a statement. "At IKEA, we recognize that our coworkers appreciate being able to do the things in life that bring success and happiness.  It also is as fun to work at IKEA as it is to shop at IKEA."

The 416,000-square-foot store will be the second in South Florida and the largest in the state. It will feature about 1,500 parking spaces and nearly 10,000 items.

Anyone interested in applying can visit IKEA-USA.com for all available positions.
