A Miami man has been charged with murder in the mysterious death of a 1-year-old girl earlier this week.
Timothy Bodden, 23, was arrested Thursday and charged with second-degree murder at his home in North Miami.
On Monday, police responded to a call that an infant had fallen from a bed and was unresponsive. The baby, Kianna Meus, was later pronounced dead.
Autopsy results revealed the baby could not have died from a fall and police immediately moved to find Bodden, who is the boyfriend of the baby's aunt. Police have not released the autopsy report or why they believe Bodden was the killer.
Police spent several hours interviewing family members at the home of Meus' parents Monday. Police believed the baby was moved there from another location before police were called.
