A Pembroke Pines man is facing over two dozen charges of child pornography possession after officers found several illicit videos and pictures on his computer, police said Wednesday.
Christian Martinet, 24, was arrested Tuesday night and charged with 30 counts of child pornography possession, according to a Pembroke Pines Police report.
According to the report, the South Florida Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force traced an IP address that offered to share child pornography videos and images on a file sharing network to Martinet.
The report said 44 files including child pornography videos and images were found in a desktop folder on his laptop. The images showed children under the age of 13 engaging in various sex acts with and without adults and children, the report said.
Martinet was taken into custody. He was in bond court Wednesday where he was ordered held on $300,000 bond. It was unknown whether he had an attorney.
