Miami Bachelor To Be on NBC's “Ready For Love”

Ernesto Arguello was handpicked to be on the show by executive producer Eva Longoria

A 33-year-old Miami bachelor is a contestant on NBC’s new fall reality show, “Ready For Love.”

Ernesto Arguello, who was handpicked by executive producer Eva Longoria to be on the show, is handsome, successful, a family man and single. When asked why he hasn’t fallen in love yet, he told NBC 6 he didn’t know.

“It just hasn’t happened,” he said. “I’m looking for somebody who values family as much as I do, that shares my values and morals, that appreciates marriage and respects marriage as I do. I mean last time I checked it’s until death do you part. So having someone that share those values, it’s very important for me.”

Arguello will be in Los Angeles for the next two months and could potentially come home with a strong candidate to spend the rest of his life with.

The show, which will be hosted by Bill and Giuliana Rancic, will have matchmakers pick the perfect women for the three selected bachelors. A woman will go home each week, and in the end, each bachelor will have his final pick. But as far as a proposal for the finale, Arguello feels there’s no pressure to put a ring on anyone’s finger.

“I think that the producers have taken caution to be as real as possible,” he said.

Either way, the Miami man will be happy to show off his city.

“The city is actually growing a lot culturally,” he said. “We have the Adrienne Arsht Center, which I personally am a fan of, museums, you have the gallery walks in Wynwood, and you have more and more things, coming to the city.”
