A checkpoint within Miami International Airport has re-opened following its closure after an investigation into an unattended bag, a MIA spokeswoman said.

Checkpoint H at the airport had been closed after a dog detected something in the bag, but authorities found nothing amiss, Maria Elena Levrant of the Miami-Dade Aviation Department said.

Battle Over Baggage Wrap at MIA Decided

Initially three floors of Terminal H at MIA were evacuated after the bag was found, Levrant said.
