Authorities are investigating after they say a man robbed a Jacksonville Wal-Mart at gunpoint.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office tells local media outlets that the armed robbery took place early Monday morning at the Wal-Mart at River City Marketplace.
A police report says three employees were in the office where they keep and count the money, when a man came in wearing a Wal-Mart vest. The report says the suspect pulled out a gun and demanded the cash.
The report says as the suspect turned to leave, he threw some cash back, telling the employees to keep it. Police say the suspect then fled with several bags of money.
The investigation is ongoing.
