Scene of a fatal crash on I-75.

It was a rough morning on South Florida roads with at least one fatal crash, a pair of other crashes and a several delays Friday.

The fatal accident happened just before 5 a.m. in the southbound lanes of I-75 near W. 138th Street in Hialeah, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Details are unknown but a pregnant woman and her unborn child were killed when two cars somehow collided in what police said was a wrong-way accident. Another man was also killed on the scene.

The crash had traffic on I-75 backed up for several miles as authorities investigated the accident.

Shortly before that accident, another crash happened in the westbound lanes of State Road 826 at Northwest 67th Avenue around 4:45 a.m.

Officials called the accident serious, but it's unknown whether there were any injuries.

The crash caused the westbound lanes of 826 to be closed from Northwest 57th Avenue to Northwest 67th Avenue early Friday.

A third crash without injuries happened just before 2 a.m. after a UPS truck was somehow left dangling off the Griffin Road exit at the Florida Turnpike.
