Miami Police said they shot a man who is a possible armed robbery suspect after he fled by bike and foot and then was spotted with a gun Monday night.
The man was riding his bike near NW 5th Avenue and NW 77th Street when officers identified him as a possible suspect in an earlier robbery, police said.
When police tried to stop him, the man rode away, before he got off the bike and ran. Police said they shot the man after they saw a gun in his hand, but it's not clear if the man ever opened fire.
The man was wounded and taken to a hospital, police said.
