Red Ferrari Driver Arrested in Fatal 2013 Hit-and-Run Crash: FHP

More than a year after one man was killed and another man seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash involving a Ferrari on I-75, the driver has been arrested, authorities said.

Radomin Delgado, 43, is charged with leaving the scene of a crash involving death in the Aug. 10, 2013 wreck, Florida Highway Patrol officials said.

Delgado was being held on $15,000 bond following his arrest Thursday. It was unknown if he has an attorney.

Authorities say Delgado was behind the wheel of a Ferrari that collided with two cars on I-75 just north of Northwest 138th Street. Jorge Arrojas, 60, was killed in the crash, while Miguel Larrieu was left seriously injured.

"Jorge had his head on top of my chest and I kept asking him to breathe," said Larrieu. "I mean, it was over because I couldn't see him breathe."

Larrieu continued talking abou the other driver, "He didn't even call an ambulance, or even come and see how we were, or even try to help us in any way.

Delgado's red 2009 Ferrari Scuderia was mangled in the crash, and he fled the scene before first responders arrived, authorities said.

Larrieu said Thursday that he is "glad that finally this is having some sort of closure."
