Residents Evacuated After Fire at North Miami Beach Apartment Complex

Several residents were sent into the chilly morning temperatures Wednesday after a fire broke out at their North Miami Beach apartment complex.

Crews responded to the scene at 1810 Northeast 167th Street, where the fire started on the roof and police officers went door to door to get residents to evacuate.

One resident was treated for smoke inhalation, but officials have not said if any others needed medical attention.

Officials have also not said when residents will be allowed in their homes as power has not been restored.
