A day after Christmas, shoppers are back at it – filling up the malls and emptying their wallets.
"Typically the day after Christmas, there's a ton of sales, so it's a good day to shop," Asher Levine said at Sawgrass Mills Wednesday afternoon.
Levine wasn't the only one with that idea. Phyllis Patterson, visiting from Michigan, said she was dragged out to Sawgrass Mills by her friend she calls a shopaholic. But she wasn't exactly sitting on the sidelines.
"We're on our way to the Coach store, then Burberry, then Last Call, then Off 5th ... then we'll probably retire," she said.

According to Forbes, sales this holiday season were at a four-year low, so now retailers are banking on post-Christmas sales.

"Everybody's out here, but hey, it's warm. The same thing would be happening in Michigan, but you'd just have coats on," Patterson said.
