Miami-Dade Police say they are still searching for a man suspected of committing an armed robbery on Sept. 17, 2010.

Rodrigo Buelvas was housesitting when the armed men, identified by investigators of the Miami-Dade Police Robbery Bureau as George Rochela and Alex Piloto, broke into the house, tied and beat up the man while demanding money, police said.

Investigators said that Piloto was in custody for unrelated charges, but Rochela hasn’t yet been located.

Rochela is known to be commonly found in the Southwest Miami-Dade area, and is considered armed and dangerous, police said.

Miami-Dade Police urge anyone with information on this incident to contact Crime Stoppers at (305) 471-TIPS (8477) or (866) 471-8477.
