Sunrise Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash in Tamarac

A Sunrise man was killed Sunday night after his motorcycle crashed into the rear of a car in Tamarac, police say.

According to the Broward Sheriff's Office, Francheska Roldan, 24, of Ft. Lauderdale was driving a silver Hyundai headed eastbound on West Commercial Boulevard around 6:00 p.m. Sunday when she made a u-turn at White Oak Lane. Once she completed that turn, Roldan was rear-ended by Brandon Cramasta, 29, of Sunrise who was riding his motorcycle. According to witnesses, Cramasta was operating the motorcycle at a high rate of speed.

After the crash, Cramasta was airlifted to Broward Health Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.

No other injuries were reported.

Commercial Boulevard was shut down while detectives analyzed the scene. It reopened just before 9:00 p.m. Sunday night.
