Suspect at Large After Lincoln Road Shooting

Miami Beach Police responded around 4 a.m. to calls of shots fired inside the McDonald's restaurant at Washington Avenue and Lincoln Road.

    A suspect is at large and two people are injured after an early-morning shooting at a McDonald's restaurant on Lincoln Road. NBC 6's Laura Rodriguez reports.

    Police say a suspect is still at large and two people are injured after a shooting on Lincoln Road early Saturday morning.

    Miami Beach Police responded around 4 a.m. to calls of shots fired inside the McDonald's restaurant at Washington Avenue and Lincoln Road.

    Officers at the scene found two men seriously injured. Both were transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital, but no information on their condition has been released.

    Lorianne Bertot is visiting from France, and was shocked to hear about the shooting being in a tourist-heavy area.

    "i was very surprised because we were close to there, close to Espanola Way and we passed over there. Not so late, but yes it's shocking," Lorianne Bertot, visiting from France.

    The cause of the shooting is still under investigation. Police are asking anyone with information to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at (305) 471-TIPS (8477).
