Authorities are looking for a man who was caught on camera stealing money pouches from a Deerfield Beach Walmart.

The robbery happened back on July 12 at the store at 1101 S. Military Trail, the Broward Sheriff's Office said.

According to the BSO, an employee left a cart of cash unattended for a moment as he helped a customer when the thief grabbed six of the 13 money pouches and ran out of the store.

Surveillance cameras captured the crime. The thief, who has a teardrop tattoo on his face, got away with several thousand dollars.

A reward of up to $3,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest. Anyone with information is asked to call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
