Police are investigating a smash and grab burglary at a T-Mobile store in Pembroke Pines Monday morning.

The burglary happened around 4 a.m. when a vehicle drove into the front of the store at 14834 Pines Boulevard.

The incident left the store's entrance badly damaged. About $8,600 worth of merchandise was taken, police said.

It's believed police are looking for a black pickup truck related to the crime.

Police said a nearby Sprint store was also robbed overnight by thieves who broke a window, but it's unknown whether the two crimes are related.

Anyone with information is asked to call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
