Trial Moved for Central Florida Man Accused of Killing Wife, 2 Kids

A central Florida judge ordered the trial of a man accused of killing his wife and her two young children moved to St. Augustine.

Circuit Judge Raul Zambrano granted a defense motion for change of venue on Monday. Jury selection is planned for Jan. 10.

Prosecutors say Luis Toledo killed 28-year-old Yessenia Suarez and her children, ages 8 and 9. They were reported missing from their home in Deltona on Oct. 23, 2013. Their bodies have never been found.

Toledo's attorney's argued for the change, saying St. Augustine is in a different media market and offers a better chance of finding an unbiased jury.

The Daytona Beach News-Journal reports Toledo has told investigators he killed his wife during an argument but someone else killed the kids.
