The City of Deerfield Beach has lifted a water boil order that was issued after E. coli was detected in a North Broward Regional well.

The affected areas were zip codes 33441, 33442 and north of SW 15th Street within the zip code 33064.

Officials had asked residents to bring all water to a rolling boil for one minute or use bottled water for drinking, making ice, preparing food and washing dishes until contamination was ruled out. The water is now safe to drink without boiling.
