Woman Arrested for DUI Wasn't Wearing Pants: FHP

Natalie Christina Delgado was pulled over on Interstate 595 after driving on the wrong direction and on the wrong side of the roadway, her arrest report said.

A Pompano Beach woman who was arrested for a DUI stepped out of her car without her pants, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Natalie Christina Delgado was pulled over on Interstate 595 after driving on the wrong direction and on the wrong side of the roadway, her arrest report said.

The incident happened around 2:45 a.m. on Wednesday.

When the trooper got to the drivers side, Delgado was not wearing any pants. She then reached behind her driver’s seat and found her pants, according to the highway patrol.

Delgado told the trooper she was trying to drive home from her bartending job, and was using her GPS for directions, the report said.

She then told police she had only taken one shot of tequila, and agreed to let the policeman check her eyes, the report said.

After having her eyes checked, Delgado agreed to do the “walk and turn” and the “one leg stand,” sobriety exercises.

“She did not touch heal to toe on any of the initial subsequent steps,” the report said. “She did not turn in a series of small steps as instructed and demonstrated.”

Delgado was being held at the Broward County Jail on a $25,000 bond Friday. It wasn’t immediately known if she had an attorney.
