According to Jadallah, flames were venting through the roof and coming out of the sides of the home when firefighters arrived.

As firefighters started fighting the flames they began a search of the home and found the woman inside, Jadallah said. She was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was later pronounced dead, officials said.

No one else was injured. The cause of the fire was still being investigated.
