Big Deal: Heat Reveals Wade Contract Offer – on a Billboard

We Want Wade campaign is in full effect

Contract negotiations are usually pretty hush hush in the NBA, but extreme times cause for extreme measures.

The Miami Heat, desperate to keep Dwyane Wade in the fold, has unveiled a billboard next to Wade's house that reads like a free agent contract.

It's equipped with a "Sign Here" that Wade would need a pretty large Sharpie to make the deal official.

At the end of the month, Wade will join a free agent crop that includes LeBron James, Dirk Nowitzki, Amar'e Stoudemire, Chris Bosh and Joe Johnson that will shape the NBA landscape for the next five years.

Most experts think Flash will stay close to South Beach and play for another title chance with another superstar, but the Heat aren't taking any chances. They have asked fans to buy him dessert, make him a music video or compliment him on his nice wardrobe.

The contract billboard is located on the 79th Street Causeway near Wade's North Bay Village home, just to make sure he can't miss it. It's no secret Wade will get a max offer of $125 million for six years from the Heat as soon as the clock strikes 12:01 a.m. on July 1.

The billboard just makes it official, unofficially.

Campaign "We Want Wade" is in full effect, and billboards will be erected, along with statues of Wade dunking on Anderson Varejao. Well, that last one would be an added bonus.
