Weekend Rundown: Art, Burgers, Tom Arnold & More

There are lots of fun events happening in South Florida this weekend!

The weekend is here, and the crisp weather is ideal for getting out and having fun. To help you decide what to do, we put together a list of events happening in South Florida.

Burgers: Indulge in juicy burgers all to raise money and awareness for breast cancer. Cheeseburger Baby (1505 Washington Ave.) in Miami Beach will host a backyard burger extravaganza for the Susan G. Komen Foundation of South Florida. In addition to burgers you can indulge in drinks, cupcakes and live entertainment with a few celebrity appearances. The event takes place Sunday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Wynwood Art Fair: All kinds of art will be on display at the fair, which runs from Oct. 21 to Oct. 23. General admission is $10 and children under 10 get in free. Proceeds of the fair help support the Lotus House Women's Shelter. For more information visit: wynwoodartfair.org

Monroe County Animal Shelter: The Sheriff's Animal Farm on Stock Island (Just off College Rd. at the Sheriff's Office Headquarters) will be open Sunday between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Bring your family and visit with the animals including horses, pigs, goats, bunnies, alligators, snakes and much more. Tom Arnold: You've seen him on the big screen getting his funny on in dozens of movies, now catch Tom Arnold in person doing stand-up. The actor, writer and comedian will be at the Ft. Lauderdale Improv Friday and Saturday. Tickets are $22. For show times and ticket information visit improvftl.com  

The Incredible Dogs: If you are a dog lover and are looking to do something with the family head over to the White Big Top in Bicentennial park to watch more than 40 dogs perform their best tricks.  The Incredible Dog show features dogs of all kinds even some celebrity dogs seen in "Marley and
Me", "Water for Elephants", even Telemundo soap operas. Tickets start at $19, Proceeds go to the Humane Society of Greater Miami. The show is in town until Oct. 23.  For more information visit theincredibledogs.com

Festival Miami: The annual music festival that kicks off the South Florida arts season is back! Festival Miami presents 25 to 30 performances including world premieres and symphonic concerts. Spa Week Extended! Spa week was suppose to end last weekend, but a few spas have extended those dates. Luxury spa treatments are being offered at $50 at participating spas. For more information visit spaweek.com

Halloween Events: House of Horror: Follow the shrieks and screams to Miami International Mall for the return of House of Horror. Roam the graveyard, face all those ghosts and goblins and if you dare walk through the haunted house. You'll also enjoy the carnival rides and food along with concerts. Miami Seaquarium: Its a halloween party for you little ones. The Miami Seaquarium is hosting "Monster Splash Nighttime Bash" Oct. 28 to 31. Kids will enjoy trick or treating at Sharky's Sweet Tooth Station, kiddie rides, bounce houses and Flipper's Dance party. The party is from 5pm to 10pm.
