    A person had to be air lifted to the hospital after being struck by a car in Opa-locka Thursday morning.

    The crash occurred at the intersection of Northwest 22nd Avenue and Old State Road 9 at 6:09 a.m.

    Aerial footage showed a white car with window damage. The car appeared to remain at the scene.

    The identity of the crash victim is not immediately known.

    Police shut down traffic to the area as they responded to the scene.
