Chief Meteorologist John Morales with a forecast for a few more showers before it dries out for the 2nd half of the week.
Tuesday’s showers were widely scattered and brief, leaving just a tenth of an inch of accumulation in most cases.
Some additional spotty showers are possible Tuesday night, and an isolated lingering shower may make it to the coast on Wednesday as the onshore breeze is expected to continue.
Skies on Wednesday will be partly sunny and high temperatures will settle into the lower 80s.
Beginning on Thursday the winds are expected to drop off, and without moisture being transported into South Florida from the Atlantic, it looks like we’ll be in for a dry stretch that will extend into the weekend.
Therefore late this workweek expect partly sunny skies and temperatures in the low 80s. The weekend shapes up to be partly to mostly sunny, dry, with warmer highs in the mid 80s.
