You might want to consider an alternate route if you're planning on taking a late night trip on Florida's Turnpike in Broward County this week.
Department of Transportation officials plan to close all lanes of the turnpike between the Commercial Boulevard and Coconut Creek exits on Tuesday and Wednesday nights between 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. The work will take place between mile makers 58 to 66.
The work is part of a project to widen the turnpike in Broward County.
The South Florida Sun Sentinel reports workers will be removing old overhead signs and installing new ones.
If they don't finish in two nights, the turnpike will close at 11 p.m. on Thursday night, reopening at 5 a.m. Friday.
