Authorities are investigating a massive fire that caused heavy damage to a warehouse in Fort Lauderdale Sunday night.
Some 50 firefighters and 18 firetrucks responded to the building at 1400 Northwest 62nd Street around 11 p.m., Fort Lauderdale City spokesman Matt Little said.

The two-story warehouse was "fully involved" when firefighters arrived, Little said. The firefighters battled the flames as rain bands from Tropical Storm Isaac continued to pass through the area.

Firefighters were able to put the fire out without injuries, Little said. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
