Police in Miami Gardens are investigating the scene where two men were found dead early Friday morning.
Officers arrived at the area near Northwest 151st Street and 23rd Avenue and discovered the two men near a home.
According to a preliminary investigation, the men died after a dirt bike they were on crashed into that home. Police say the men allegedly stole the bike and were fleeing from its owner, who was chasing them out of Opa-locka when at some point shots were fired.
Police are investigating whether the men, who have not been identified, died as a result of gun shots or crashing the vehicle. The dirt bike’s owner spoke with police as the investigation continues.
