Three arrests have been made in the October killing of a teen in Winter Park, police said Wednesday.
Winter Park Police said three teens - two age 15 and the third age 14 - are facing charges in the death of 15-year-old Roger Trindade, WESH reported.
The two older teens are charged with manslaughter and battery, The 14-year-old is charged with tampering with a witness.
Witnesses said Trindade was jumped by a group of teens. Police said Trindade was unconscious when officers found him along Park Avenue on Oct. 15. He was taken to a hospital and put on life support but was removed from life support days later.
A medical examiner later ruled the cause of death as blunt force trauma.
