Three teens were hospitalized after the golf cart they were riding flipped over in a Key Largo community Thursday, officials said.
The incident happened on Sunrise Cay Drive in the Ocean Reef community, Monroe County Sheriff's Office officials said.
Officials said five 13-year-olds were riding the golf cart when it flipped over. Two of them were airlifted to a Miami hospital with serious injures, while a third was taken to a local hospital.
The other two teens were treated at the scene for minor injuries. The circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation.
