Weather wise, portions of South Florida will be dealing with breezy conditions and dodging a few rain drops with high temps reaching close to 80 degrees.
No. 1 - A woman and two men are facing charges after police say they kidnapped, robbed and badly beat a man while holding him captive in a mobile home in Davie, and it's possible they may be targeting other undocumented immigrants in similar crimes.
Natalie Williams, 34, was arrested early Thursday on charges including robbery with a deadly weapon, aggravated battery and kidnapping, according to an arrest report. Joshua Reiff was also arrested, and police haven't released the name of the third man who was arrested.
No. 2 – A South Florida non-profit animal rights group has seen their partnership end with Miami-Dade Police and the State Attorney’s office.
The split came after Animal Rescue Mission’s founder Richard Couto and his operatives conducted a months-long investigation into cockfighting in South Dade without first alerting and working with law enforcement.

No. 3 - Police are hoping clear surveillance video will help them find the person who suddenly snatched a man's cellphone from his hands while on a bus in Broward County.
The crime happened on Jan. 14 at the bus stop at NW 27th Avenue and NW 12th Court, just west of Dillard High School in Fort Lauderdale, according to the Broward County Sheriff's Office.
No. 4 - A former security monitor at a Parkland school where 17 people were killed says he's being harassed by a victim's father.
The Sun Sentinel reports Andrew Medina filed a complaint in Broward Circuit Court claiming Andrew Pollack showed up Wednesday at Pine Trails Park in Parkland and heckled the former monitor, who's now a youth baseball coach.
No. 5 - Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos said Thursday he was the target of "extortion and blackmail" by the publisher of the National Enquirer, which he said threatened to publish revealing personal photos of him unless he stopped investigating how the tabloid obtained his private exchanges with his mistress.
The billionaire did not say the tabloid was seeking money — instead, he said, the Enquirer wanted him to make a public statement that the tabloid's coverage was not politically motivated.
No. 6 - Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade was selected by LeBron James in Thursday's All-Star Game draft.
The draft pick by James was expected after Wade was added to the game's roster by NBA commissioner Adam Silver.
