No. 1 - Police say a woman and a 5-year-old child died after falling nearly 20 stories Monday night from Brickell City Centre.
Miami Police and Fire Rescue crews arrived at the scene located near SW 1st Avenue and 7th Street just after 8 p.m., where they found the child unresponsive on the sixth floor terrace near a pool located on the high rise apartment side of the complex.
During a search of the area, investigators found an adult female nearby who they say may have fallen from between the 20th and 23rd floors to the terrace.
No. 2 - The Florida Supreme Court is granting Republican Ron DeSantis' request to impanel a statewide grand jury to investigate whether school districts are following laws enacted in the wake of the Parkland high school shooting that left 17 dead.

The Supreme Court issued the order Tuesday, less than two weeks after DeSantis called for the grand jury. The 18-member panel will meet for a year.
No. 3 - Opening statements are expected Tuesday in the trial of a fired South Florida police officer who is charged with the fatal 2015 shooting of a stranded black motorist.
Prosecutors are expected to tell the four-man, two-woman jury that former Palm Beach Gardens police officer Nouman Raja's actions made 31-year-old Corey Jones confuse him for a robber and pull his legally possessed handgun, causing Raja to shoot him.
No. 4 - Univision said journalist Jorge Ramos and a TV crew were "arbitrarily detained" in Caracas, Venezuela, Monday after an interview with President Nicolas Maduro was abruptly terminated.
Western Hemisphere Assistant Secretary of the State Kim Breier Tweeted that the State Department had received word of the detention and insisted on their immediate release, warning that "the world is watching."
